The Film Empire’s inaugural film mentorship contest provides a unique platform for blossoming filmmakers! Submit your film for a chance to receive mentorships and meetings with some of Hollywood’s leading producers, development executives, screenwriters, directors, cinematographers and other creatives. The mentors represent the full spectrum of the filmmaking process, from development to post-production.
The Film Empire’s Scrypt to Screen Horror Contest will offer a winning writer-director the chance to shoot a horror short under the mentorship of the lineup in Los Angeles. The screenplay will be co-directed by Adam Robitel (Insidious: Chapter 4, Netflix’s The Taking of Deborah Logan) and further developed alongside screenwriter Jeff Howard (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil).
